Privacy
This draft explains what the public site stores. It is not a finished legal policy. Review it before launch.
What the public site stores
- Page paths and the website name a visitor came from, so the editor can see which guides are read. IP addresses and account details of readers are not stored for this.
- Outbound product-link clicks: which product and retailer, not who you are. A click is not a purchase.
- Messages you send through the contact form: name, email, and the message.
- Newsletter signup remains disabled until verification, consent, and mail delivery are operational. Existing unsubscribe links can still remove a previously stored address.
- Editor accounts: name, email, and sign-in records for people allowed into the studio.
The site does not ask readers to create accounts.
If a Google Analytics measurement ID is added in settings, that service receives its own data under Google's terms. Leave the field empty and that script is not added.
Photos uploaded in the studio are stored with the site data so guides can show them.
Contact the editor through the contact page to ask what is stored or to request a correction of a message you sent.
